Tim Harvey took a spectacular win in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB segment of the Porsche Carrera World Cup event held on the toughest circuit in the world, the 16.123 mile Nurburging Nordschleife circuit in Germany.
A dramatic three races at Croft last weekend for the Michelin Ginetta GT Supercup saw three different winners including a popular win for the wildcarding Tim Harvey, while Carl Breeze took over the lead in the championship for the first time.
Reigning Porsche Carrera Cup GB champion Tim Harvey has apparently made a shock announcement that he is to step down from the 2011 championship with immediate effect, as a result of feeling that the new regulations meant he felt he was “not able to compete at the same level” anymore.
