Onslow-Cole joins West Surrey Racing

The 24-year-old will drive a third BMW for the eBay Motors team, alongside their unchanged line-up from last season of the experienced Rob Collard, and Nick Foster who enters his second year in the series after an impressive rookie year in 2011.
Having run two normally-aspirated BMWs last year for Collard and Foster, the three S2000-specification 320si chassis’ will all be fitted with the turbocharged Next Generation Touring Car-specification engine based on the 2.0 litre BMW unit, developed by Neil Brown engineering.
It also marks the return of Onslow-Cole to the team in which he started his BTCC career with back in 2007, when he partnered Colin Turkington in an RAC sponsored BMW before claiming his first series win at Snetterton later that year.
An excited Onslow-Cole announced the news on Twitter on Wednesday morning stating:”So happy to announce that I’ve joined eBay Motors for the 2012 BTCC season, alongside Foster and Collard in Turbocharged BMW’s. Bring it on.”
The team also said that title sponsor eBay Motors will remain on board for the season, WSR running as an Independent team again under the eBay Motors banner for 2012.
